Start with the shotcrete conditions
High Strength Shotcrete 48 is a white macro synthetic fibre made from 100% virgin polypropylene with no added additives. Its near-round or oval section has a diamond-embossed surface. It is intended for mine roadway support, tunnel support and other wet- or dry-mix shotcrete work, subject to project verification.
Begin with the support duty, spraying process, concrete mix, equipment and acceptance method. The product name and concrete strength grade alone do not establish a suitable dosage or an accepted support result. For the application pathway, review Mining Ground Support or Tunnel Shotcrete.
Use 4–8 kg/m³ as a trial starting range
The manufacturer starting range is 4–8 kg of fibre per cubic metre of concrete. Final selection and dosage require project-specific trial mixes, equipment checks and the specified testing. This range is not a structural design, a guaranteed energy-absorption result or automatic approval to replace another reinforcement system.
Plan batching for the actual process
Wet-mix shotcrete
Dose by weight. Add the water-soluble collated fibre units with the cement and aggregates during normal batching. After fibre addition, continue mixing for an additional 3–5 minutes, or until uniform dispersion is confirmed. Qualify the sequence and mixing time for the actual mixer and production conditions.
Dry-mix shotcrete
Dry-mix the measured fibre with cement, sand and aggregate; water is introduced at the nozzle. Qualify the dry-mix sequence, feed stability and spray parameters with the actual equipment and an experienced operating crew. Do not transfer a wet-mix result to a dry-mix project without verification.
Confirm packaging and storage before shipment
Water-soluble film collated bundles are packed in cartons with a standard net weight of 5 kg or 10 kg. Confirm the required carton option, order quantity, destination and timing in the inquiry. Keep the original packaging closed, dry and protected from moisture and direct sunlight. Use the current SDS for handling and safety information.
Know what the documents establish
The technical profile presents manufacturer-declared product specifications from TDS revision 20260701. Selected physical-property data are supported by commissioned report JCBG(01)250106781, tested to GB/T 21120-2018. A commissioned result applies to the submitted sample; it is not a guarantee of every batch or a shotcrete support design.
Energy absorption and residual strength are not declared in this revision. The formal stamped report is not published here. Conchip’s factory-internal laboratory is not accredited, and CE certification has not been issued. Where accredited evidence is required, arrange the specified independent testing. The EN 14488-5 method page explains the sprayed-concrete test pathway; it is not a product performance certificate.
Open the current TDS and SDS. The Virgin Polypropylene Fibres SDS explicitly includes High Strength Shotcrete 48. It is a manufacturer reference SDS; destination-market requirements still need review before supply.
Send enough information for a useful first response
For a technical inquiry, include the mine or tunnel application, wet- or dry-mix process, concrete mix, spraying equipment, required fibre role and acceptance method. Add any proposed dosage, concrete volume, destination and schedule. For distribution or importing, include the target market, customer applications, packaging needs and expected volume.
