Start with the precast element and its duty

High Strength 48 is a white macro synthetic fibre made from 100% virgin polypropylene with no added additives. Its flat profile has a diamond-embossed surface. It is intended for precast concrete applications, including segmental linings, precast piles and other precast components, when selection and dosage are verified for the project.

Define the element geometry, reinforcement duty, concrete mix, plant process, demoulding and handling stages, installation conditions and acceptance tests before choosing the fibre. Review the Precast Concrete Products or Precast Tunnel Segments pathway for the application context.

Use 4–8 kg/m³ as a trial starting range

The manufacturer starting range is 4–8 kg of fibre per cubic metre of concrete. Establish the final dosage through project design, trial mixes, plant trials and the specified element tests. The starting range is not a structural design, a guaranteed residual-strength result or automatic approval to replace another reinforcement system.

Qualify batching in the actual precast plant

Determine the fibre dose by weight. Plant batching equipment may meter the same preset mass for each concrete batch. Add the unopened water-soluble collated fibre units with cement and aggregates during the normal charging sequence. After all fibre has entered the mixer, continue mixing for an additional 3–5 minutes, or until uniform dispersion is confirmed.

Validate the charging sequence, mixer loading, mixing time, concrete consistency and production repeatability in a plant trial before regular production. Check the finished element at the stages that matter to the project, including demoulding, lifting, storage, transport and installation.

Confirm packaging and storage before supply

Water-soluble film collated bundles are packed in cartons with a standard net weight of 5 kg or 10 kg. Confirm the carton option, order quantity, destination and production schedule in the inquiry. Keep the original packaging closed, dry and protected from moisture and direct sunlight.

Know what the current documents establish

The technical profile presents manufacturer-declared product specifications from TDS revision 20260701. Selected physical-property data are supported by commissioned report JCBG(01)250307820, tested to GB/T 21120-2018. A commissioned result applies to the submitted sample; it is not a guarantee of every batch or an approval for a specific precast element.

Residual strength is not declared. A factory reference for energy absorption is not published because its original traceable record is unavailable, so it is not used here as a product claim. The formal stamped report is not published. Where accredited or element-level evidence is required, arrange the specified independent testing.

Open the current TDS and SDS. The Virgin Polypropylene Fibres SDS includes High Strength 48 and remains a manufacturer reference document; destination-market requirements still need review before supply.
