Mining Ground Support

Shotcrete fibre decisions framed by mine conditions, application equipment, ground-support design and test evidence.

Fibre is one part of the ground-support system

Begin with the ground condition, excavation geometry, support duty and the engineer-approved combination of shotcrete, bolts, mesh and other measures. A fibre cannot by itself guarantee ground stability or eliminate rockfall risk.

Wet- and dry-mix conditions

Record the actual process: batching and dosing, transport distance, spraying equipment and openings, water addition, rebound, dust controls, sump or dewatering conditions, layer thickness and early-strength requirements. Dry- and wet-mix routes must be reviewed separately because their control points are not the same.

Evidence and trial

Where panel energy absorption is relevant, identify the specified method and report source, including EN 14488-5 when required. Final dosage and suitability remain subject to the project specification, equipment trial and qualified approval.

Next step

Send the real project conditions.

Share the application, process, equipment, mix, proposed dosage, required method, quantity and destination. Conchip will respond within the evidence currently available.
